A grateful photographer’s perspective on the Taikasaarifestivaali 2025
The Taikasaarifestivaali 2025 started for me the moment I stepped into Hämeenlinna City Park with my camera. I felt a great sense of gratitude for having been given permission to record the evening and its magic. From the first glance, it was clear that this was not just an ordinary festival – but a whole visual spectacle.

As dusk fell, music filled the air. It was fragile and beautiful, sometimes even eerily so – the kind that makes you stop and listen without breathing. Each note seemed to bind the audience into one part of the same story.

Acrobatics and art under the sky
One of the highlights of the evening was definitely aerial acrobatics. Performers glided and spun in the air like creatures made of light, and the audience watched with bated breath. Fire shows, circuses and performances were also staged in the same area – all in their own way reinforcing the magical theme of the festival.
Guests and incredible outfits
Taikasaarifestivaali 2025 also made an impression through its guests. It’s been a long time since I’ve seen such stunning outfits – the variety of colours, fabrics and details was breathtaking. Many looked as if they had stepped straight from the pages of a storybook. It was a pleasure to photograph people who brought their own creativity to the festival.

Traders’ crafts and tastes
There was also a charming selection of shops in the festival area. The vendors’ offerings focused on handmade products, perfectly suited to the magical world of the event. And when hunger struck, food stalls offered a variety of delicious flavours – just the thing to complete the experience.
Impressed by the organisation and the atmosphere
The crowning glory was how well the festival was organised. It was easy to get around, the services worked and the overall atmosphere was both calm and joyful. Guests treated each other with kindness, and it felt like the whole park was breathing the same magic.
Taikasaarifestivaali 2025 will be remembered
When I left the city park at night, with my camera full of pictures and my heart full of experiences, I knew I had been part of something unique. The Taikasaarifestivaali 2025 was not just an event – it was an experience where art, people and environment merged into one magical moment.
